Airport Pirep:
6/13/10
Usually, its a very busy airport. It has taken me an hour and a half just to taxi to the fbo before.
General Aviation on the field is handled by airport ops. We park over on the Northwest side of the airport. When you pull onto the ramp it looks wide open but they will stuff you along the wall to the right. The personal can be very helpful to you practically pulling there teeth to get them to do something. The general consensus is that they don't like General Aviation aircraft and sometimes make things much harder then it needs to be to discourage general aviation aircraft from coming there. Fuel is usually a bit slow in coming unless there is nothing going on. I think they are getting better than they used to be.
If you need prist you have to pay in cash and they only have the bottled type that needs to be mixed with the fuel.
if you overnite then you will be parked in the ramp just over the wall to the south of the ops ramp. You will need a ride over to get it.
Definately review the airport diagram before you taxi as instructions may come fast. Plan accordingly with fuel if it looks like there is a long line to the runway. Even if they are departing runway 13R which is right by the General Aviation Ramp they will make you wait til your turn in line (maybe an hour later) instead of letting you into the line of departing Jets.
